Just read the history of gui's, nothing I didn't already know but always interesting to get another slant. The prose itself is well written and thorough so I do expect to enjoy this book and it should be very useful to boot.

When I was a kid, thousands of years ago, I remembered the art of Halo Jones but don't think the story was my cup of tea back then. Things have changed but remain the same, the art is still stunning, Ian Gibson knew how to draw women but the story and the atmosphere is astounding, I love it now. Highly recommend.

Finished reading the whilst sitting outside with a setting sun and a small glass of perfectly chilled beer. It was a magical start of an adventure, the artwork is without doubt, astounding and worth it for that alone however, the story too is gripping and will make you come back for more.
